Mach Industries is a rapidly growing defense technology company focused on developing next-generation autonomous defense platforms. They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their new division, Mach Propulsion, responsible for developing automated manufacturing processes for small turbojet engines.

Responsibilities

Develop the manufacturing process, select appropriate tools and suppliers, design the manufacturing floor plan

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality

Support the assembly and testing of machines and equipment as necessary

Team leadership to build the production team

Qualification

Required

BS in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field

5+ years in rapid product development environment

Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes

Proficiency in NX for product design and engineering

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and methodologies

Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities

Preferred

Defense product development, military experience or high precision parts manufacturing

Builder mentality, you are driven to create and improve not just maintain the status quo

Strong coaching and mentoring skills with ability to develop scientific thinking in others as well as help teams to develop efficient tools and processes for success
