Legal Intern - Summer 2026

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of legal issues, including regulatory compliance, employment law, and IP
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, including terms and conditions for supplier and subcontracts, non-disclosure agreements, and consulting agreements
Support litigation efforts, including preparation of administrative responses and assisting with management of outside counsel
Assist in the management of our IP portfolio, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights
Provide support to the employment law team on matters such as policy development, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws
Collaborate with the legal operations team on process improvements, technology implementation, and overall legal department efficiency
Attend meetings and provide general administrative support to the legal team as needed

Required

Must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior in college, with at least 6 months until graduation after end of internship
Undergraduate candidates must be interest in pursuing legal degree
Law school candidates should have demonstrated interest in government contracting
Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
Strong organization skills and work ethic; detail oriented

Preferred

Previous internship or work experience in a legal setting
Familiarity with government contracting, IP law, employment law, or litigation
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
