Responsibilities
Manage the procurement process, including vendor selection and contract negotiation
Oversee compliance management to ensure adherence to federal regulations and UCC law
Draft, review, and negotiate with State and Federal Agencies contractors
Maintain accurate records management for all contractual documents
Support the risk assessment through review and interpretation of legal documentation related to contracts
Ability to act as liaison between customers, sales, finance, and legal functions to ensure exceptional customer service
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning and business development efforts
Conduct research on industry standards and best practices related to contract management
Utilize ERP systems and Salesforce for tracking contract performance and vendor relationships
Implement change management processes to adapt contracts as necessary
Prepare proposal writing and pricing strategies for new contracts
Ensure effective document management using tools such as DocuSign
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Law, or a related field preferred
Proven experience in contract management, procurement, or State and Federal Agencies
Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations and intellectual property law
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively
Proficiency in legal drafting, technical writing, and document review processes
Familiarity with change management principles and practices
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in records management
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities
Preferred
Experience with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft is a plus
