Barry-Wehmiller is a diversified global supplier of engineering consulting and manufacturing technology, and they are seeking interns for their Future Leaders Program – MBA Internship. Interns will be placed in high-visibility roles to lead strategic initiatives that are critical to the company's success and prepare them for leadership positions within the organization.

Responsibilities
Lead initiatives focused on the growth of a business by assessing capabilities, growth drivers, and other strategic levers
Perform analysis to enable key factors of strategic plan (e.g., creating new pricing methodologies developed through data analysis and customer insights)
Develop deep understanding of a product and its drivers of market success, resulting in faster and more sustainable growth (e.g., defining an integrated product launch strategy; developing an innovation roadmap)
Drive key business go-to-market strategies by leveraging customer insights, search engine optimization (SEO), AI, and more (e.g., performing market studies to define market size, potential, and entry strategy – e.g. build vs. buy; developing a proactive marketing campaign)
Lead financial analyses for driving better business decisions (e.g., performing an assessment of opportunities based on a machine’s footprint and the positioning of our products in the market; developing a strategy for improving working capital levels)
Lead operational improvement and supply chain projects (e.g., designing an updated manufacturing process to enable higher throughput; performing supply chain assessments that uncover savings opportunities)
Lead people analytics, compensation and incentives, strategic workforce planning, and cultural programming (e.g. develop talent matrices, market talent analysis, and technology trends: ready BW for the future of work, develop international pay structures and incentive plans, and measure ROI on L&D programs)
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled as a 1st year student in an MBA program
Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills to solve complex business problems, with a proven track record of success
Superior leadership abilities with demonstrated business acumen, communication, and interpersonal skills
Comfortable driving impact while navigating ambiguity
Strong desire to join a people-centric, caring culture
Willingness to work in St. Louis, MO in summer 2026. Full-time location to be discussed during the interview process
