Responsibilities

Work across multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful evaluation, optimization, design, commissioning, and full-scale operational troubleshooting of water treatment facilities
Collaborate with local and global technology leaders to produce innovative solutions for a variety of municipal and industrial clients
Drive the evaluation and ultimate incorporation of emerging technologies into our work while implementing Jacob's best practices developed over the past 40 years serving the drinking water industry
Present your work to industry peers in industry magazines and at professional conferences
Support business development efforts and help in the pursuit of new projects, as well as work directly with clients on the projects and tasks that you are leading
Collaborate with senior technologists who are experts in the industry, with the expectation that you will participate in team building and mentoring of younger engineers

Qualification

Professional Engineer (PE) LicensureMaster’s Degree in EngineeringWater treatment engineeringMembrane treatment technologiesProject management experienceTeam buildingSelf-motivatedMentoring

Required

Master's Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure
10+ years of progressive professional experience in relevant water treatment and process engineering
Demonstrated understanding of drinking water supply, reuse, master planning, and treatment processes and technologies
Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities

Preferred

Experience with membrane treatment technologies, including membrane filtration, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis
Project management experience and certification
Direct or indirect potable reuse project experience
