Course specific knowledge to teach in accordance with course learning objectives and student learning outcomes
Knowledge of prevailing building codes used in Long Island jurisdictions
Knowledge of site construction materials and assemblies specified in building and site design
Knowledge of site design and construction for grading, drainage, site structures and pavement, and landscape preparation
Knowledge of construction drawings, construction notes and specification organization, layers and preparation
Knowledge of field survey skills, surveying equipment, preparations of surveying drawings and reports, and use of field equipment

Required

B.S in Landscape Arch. and MS in related field, or
M. Landscape Arch., or
B.S. in Civil Engineering, or
B.S. in Surveying or related field

Preferred

Landscape Architectural Registration (RLA) license (ARC364), or Professional Engineering (PE) or Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license (CON103)
3 years of professional work experience and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to diversity and university initiatives supportive of diversity and inclusion
Interest in participating in student-centered service activities
Desire to apply expertise in promoting civic engagement with the College's many community partners
