Veritiv is a leading full-service provider of packaging solutions. They are seeking a Supply Planner Intern responsible for managing replenishment and planning strategies to optimize inventory performance, while collaborating with various teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with multiple internal customers on projects and presentations

Identify opportunities to streamline process improvements

Take ownership of a project and then assist other team members to support company initiatives

Manages Replenishment policy and parameter setting within ERS/EVO including lead time, minimum order quantities, product segmentation, etc

Works collaboratively to effectively manage Customer Dedicated Inventory and Sales Rep to advise stocking strategies

Process vendor acknowledgements and verify delivery date, cost, quantity, and terms

Follow up with vendors on vendor acknowledgements not received and past due purchase order lines (through exception reporting). Update purchase orders with updated information

Work with operations and accounts payable to resolve receiving discrepancies (OS&D’s) and invoice discrepancies (APDs)
