Vice President, Data Management & Quantitative Analysis

The Vice President of Data Management & Quantitative Analysis will centralize data, metrics, and reporting for Compliance, integrate AI insights, and oversee data governance to support decision-making and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

We focus on centralizing data, metrics, and reporting for all areas of Compliance, including Global Compliance, Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC), and Global Sanctions. Then, we aim to build innovative platforms with dashboards, reporting, and administrative tools to provide actionable intelligence and support decision-making
Manage partnerships with data owners, Engineering, and FCC/Compliance to document requirements for data use in metrics and reporting
Use AI-generated insights to redesign compliance and reporting processes, support strategic risk analysis, and drive AI-enabled decision-making
Gain a comprehensive understanding of data, including its scope, limitations, and interlinkages. Use both standard and AI-driven tools for analysis, extraction, and reporting
Perform testing and coordinate user acceptance of new datasets and reports. Conduct root cause analysis for data errors and determine remediation steps
Collaborate with the Risk & Compliance AI community to establish and share best practices. Support project management, maintain standards, and assist with training and engagement initiatives
Oversee data governance, including the management and integration of AI systems, data integrity, availability, and collaboration. Validate AI outputs for compliance and document AI system touchpoints and logic flows

Required

Bachelor's degree (business, math, engineering, computer science) or the equivalent combination of education and experience needed
7+ relevant years of total work experience preferred
Strong organization, documentation, communication, and presentation skills
Competency with leading data profiling tools such as SQL, Alteryx, Power BI, Python, or other data querying tools
Familiar with logical data models
Should excel in scenario analysis, foreseeing potential challenges, and proposing problem-solving solutions
Competency with data governance processes and tools

Preferred

Knowledge of the structuring of data environments and applications that use big data processes is preferred
Familiar with Business Intelligence data management and visualization (primarily Power BI)
Experience with issue management systems (JIRA, Service Now)
