Responsibilities
Lead the design, permitting, and construction management of municipal infrastructure projects
Collaborate with engineering support staff to deliver successful street, utility, and stormwater projects
Manage projects from concept through design and construction, depending on client needs
Ensure the overall performance of projects, focusing on client satisfaction, financial success, quality control, and adherence to project schedules
Serve as the primary contact for clients and contractors during project execution
Maintain positive client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a related field
Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Iowa (or ability to obtain)
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in municipal engineering
Passion for municipal projects and collaboration within a team environment
Ability to work independently, lead project work, and meet critical deadlines
Experience in project management and client interaction
Basic proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable interfacing with clients and contractors
