Adjunct Assistant Professor - Criminal Justice (Crime Analyst)

Qualification
Required
A minimum of a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice, Statistics, Data Science, GIS or a closely related field
Candidates with Master's Degrees in other disciplines will be considered if they can demonstrate education, experience and/or scholarship in crime analysis, crime mapping and/or criminal intelligence
Specific knowledge about crime analysis practices and tools (e.g. software)
Identification of crime patterns
Compiling crime data for analysis and interpretation
Crime mapping tools and techniques
Geographic information systems (GIS)
Criminal intelligence
Ability to follow the intelligence cycle to obtain, analyze, interpret and present crime data
Ability to convey concepts of detecting, preventing and reducing crime
Preferred
