Interventional Radiologic Technologist, ARRT

They are seeking an Interventional Radiologic Technologist who will operate radiographic equipment, produce high-quality radiographs, and assist in the day-to-day operations of the department while ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Operates all routine radiographic equipment in a safe and proficient manner
Produces high quality radiographs with a minimum of repeats
Handles multiple room assignments and all different types of exams on a daily basis
Communicates with physicians, patients, families, and ancillary hospital personnel
Assists with other activities as deemed necessary for the day-to-day operation of the department
Abides by and enforce all compliance requirements and policies and performs these responsibilities in an ethical manner consistent with the organization's values
Participates in performance improvement initiatives as well as other employees’ training and orientation
Position may require cross training in additional modalities as directed by the Director of Imaging

Required

High School graduate or equivalent
Completes formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA approved school and is registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Vascular Interventional Radiology, ARRT (VI)
Possesses current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Completes a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education bi-annually
Remains 'in compliance' with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology's continuing medical education requirement (CME)
Minimum of two years experience after graduation in a major hospital setting
