Responsibilities
Conduct industry, private equity, and company research using tools like D&B Hoovers, PitchBook, Cyndx, and SignalMate AI to identify potential acquisition targets
Use SignalMate AI to transcribe meetings, capture insights, and clarify next steps with C-suite executives and capital providers
Manage and organize relationships using Microsoft 365, Infusionsoft, and AI-powered dashboards that streamline data processing and outreach
Promote outreach to private equity firms by calling and emailing to promote our conference
Assist with AI-integrated event preparation for our BlackmoreConnects virtual conference, collaborating with marketing and HR teams
Use AI-assisted automation to streamline email campaigns and follow-ups, including follow-up emails to executives and prospective attendees for conferences and meetings
Assist with AI-driven event preparation and email outreach: Leverage SignalMate AI to draft and personalize outreach emails for executives and private equity firms, record and transcribe preparatory meetings, refine communication scripts, and automate follow-ups to executives already in our CRM. Collaborate with marketing and HR to ensure smooth registration, align with broader campaigns, and optimize engagement and conversion rates
Attend and document meetings; transcribe and organize notes using SignalMate AI: Keep AI dictation running during meetings to capture all dialogue, identify actionable items, KPIs, key takeaways, and align meeting outcomes with organizational objectives. Upload transcripts to SignalMate to enhance contextual intelligence, refine future communications, and improve executive outreach and research processes
Support managing director’s inbox and calendar management using AI-enhanced tools: Prioritize and organize incoming messages, generate personalized responses, create templates for recurring communications, and manage calendar updates with flexibility to accommodate last-minute changes
Work directly with the managing director on strategic, high-impact projects: Assist with ad hoc tasks that vary by day and week, including research, talent acquisition, deal analysis, and other projects critical to organizational objectives. These tasks require initiative, adaptability, and attention to detail
Lead and participate in team or one-on-one meetings with C-suite executives: Gather insights about their target criteria, refine research priorities, and ensure high-quality due diligence and company profiles using tools like PitchBook, Cyndx, and D&B Hoovers. Collect and maintain executive contact information, including emails, phone numbers, and LinkedIn profiles, to support future conferences, webinars, and outreach campaigns
Conduct deeper company research and analysis for executives and capital providers: Perform detailed company profiling, due diligence, and evaluation estimates as needed to inform executive decision-making and deal sourcing
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of financial markets and business strategy
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to work independently and in small, agile teams
Punctual, reliable, and comfortable with deadlines
Skilled in research, with high attention to detail
Technically proficient in MS Office Suite and web tools
Comfort with or willingness to learn AI-based tools like SignalMate
Must have a stable computer/laptop, Wi-Fi, and a working webcam
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or related fields preferred
Familiarity with LinkedIn and database management tools (plus)
