Responsibilities
Performs diversified accounting and tax assignments under the direction of a Senior, Manager and/or Partner
Possesses knowledge of tax regulations in order to answer clients' questions
Prepares personal, corporate, partnership, and S-Corp returns of increasing complexity
Responds to tax notices of any sort and prepares initial drafts of letters required
Performs tax research projects requiring minimal expertise
Prepares tax accruals as may be required in preparing corporate tax returns
Begins to demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards
Meets time constraints and client deadlines
Participates in tax planning and projections
Becomes proficient in using the firm's software programs and prepares other reports, projects, and duties as may be assigned
Begins acquiring the skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting from a four-year college or university
Two (2) to four (4) years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Active CPA License is a plus, candidates pursuing certification are encouraged to apply
