NL-25-068 Requirements and Integration Engineer
nLogic is seeking a Requirements and Integration Engineer to join their systems engineering team in El Segundo, CA, focusing on the next generation of space communication systems for the US Space Force. The role involves supporting Systems Engineering & Integration activities, leading technical discussions, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and integration of systems.

Responsibilities
Apply Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) to support the development of technical baselines
Generate requirements that translates stakeholder needs and expectations into a clear, concise, and verifiable set of specifications for a system
Analyze system requirements that define the technical baseline and verification of the technical baseline (TRDs and ICDs)
Work with Government and contractor personnel to close gaps in flow of customer requirements decomposition from system and component levels with the ability to use DOORs
Lead and supporting Government/Contractor Working Group meetings—create briefings, leading discussion, and writing minutes—to resolve risks, requirement gaps, and action items
Develop and maintain proposed changes to the technical baseline for impacts to enterprise capabilities and to cross-stakeholder integration concerns
Facilitate review of program documents by providing comments, compiling other reviewer comments, and working with contractors to adjudicate the comments
Serve as a subject matter expert to assess technical issues and to prepare briefings to U.S. Space Force management
Support management of risks, issues, interdependence, identifying schedule disconnects and conflicts, developing action plans for resolution, and assisting the Government in executing selected solutions
Qualification
Required
Active Secret Clearance is required for this position
BS degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or network and telecommunications
10+ years demonstrated experience in systems engineering
4+ years with system specification, verification, or analysis
Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools used to support requirements development and traceability
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Organization capability with ability to handle competing priorities
Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate ideas, recommendations and options to customers, senior leaders, and stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred
MS degree in one of the following technical disciplines: engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science
Certifications in Systems Engineering (INCOSE ESEP, CSEP)
Certifications in MBSE (OCSMP)
Certifications in Agile Development
Knowledge and experience in Jira and Confluence
Experience with MILSATCOM, such as AEHF, EPS, WGS, and Tactical SATCOM or COMSATCOM
Experience working with military or DoD civilian clients
Experience with space and ground systems, such as satellite communication, ground terminals and DoD networks
