They are seeking a Piping Drafter Intern to assist in creating process and piping drawings, learning CAD software, and collaborating with engineers to ensure project accuracy.

Responsibilities

Assist in creating process and piping type drawings, including diagrams, general arrangements, and details

Learn and utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) to create and modify diagrams and drawings

Understand and apply piping codes, standards, and specifications

Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure project accuracy and efficiency

Research and analyze piping systems and components

Assist in preparing material requisitions and bill of materials

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in piping design

Required

Student actively pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field with a preferred expected graduation date of December 2025 through December 2027

Strong understanding of basic engineering principles and drafting techniques

Proficiency in CAD software, preferably AutoCAD or Inventor

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Detail-oriented and organized

A passion for learning and growing in the field of piping design
