The Project Manager / Estimator will be responsible for estimating, managing electrical projects, and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring project success and profitability.

Responsibilities
Estimate / design and manage electrical projects ranging from $10,000 to $1 million
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, resulting in trust and long term, repeat business opportunities
Ability to identify clients’ electrical needs and develop / design NEC compliant solutions that will meet current and future needs
Ensure open and effective communication with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, engineers, etc
Perform accurate and timely estimates using Accubid software
Present scope & pricing in concise, detailed proposals
When required, develop, submit and gain AHJ approval of drawings, load calculations, etc
Negotiate with clients and suppliers when necessary to arrive at an equitable outcome
Effectively oversee and manage all facets of projects, including but not limited to schedules, labor / material budgets, subcontractors, etc
Ensure overall success and profitability of projects
Ensure that all work is completed according to Prism safety and quality standards
Always perform all facets of job with the highest standard of ethics
Qualification
Required
Proven people management, process management, and performance management skills
Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting, employee motivation and training, leadership and office management skills, and customer acquisition and relations
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong budget tracking, labor tracking, and scheduling skills
Proficiency in information analyzation and budget setup
