They are hiring an Enterprise Infrastructure Services Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support information assurance programs, maintain security posture, and ensure compliance with security policies and standards.

Responsibilities

Provide support for a program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance program, including proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies

Maintain operational security posture for an information system or program to ensure information systems security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed

Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information

Perform vulnerability and risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation

Prepare and review documentation to include System Security Plans (SSP), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices

Support security authorization activities in compliance with customer Information System Certification and Accreditation Process (NISCAP), and DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP)

Required

Fifteen (15) years of experience are required

Experience is to include at least three (3) of the following areas: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols, and encryption techniques or tools

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required

DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher is required

Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree

Must have experience supporting NISCAP and DIACAP processes

Serve as the approval authority for Information Systems

Experience as an ISSM

Experience planning and coordinating IT Security Programs and Policies

Knowledgeable of customer compliance and risk regulations

Experience building SSPs

Proven ability to complete System Certification and Accreditation

Experience with vulnerability and risk assessment analysis, and development of security protocols

Must have familiarization with customer infrastructure
