HRIS DATABASE AND ANALYTICS SPECIALIST II

Responsibilities
Designs, implements, and maintains databases, reports, and scripts used to manage the enterprise HR systems
Identifies, designs, implements, and disseminates data and reports as necessary to support the organization’s goals
Collects, analyzes, and reports data from multiple data sources to create actionable reports and knowledge for peers and leadership
Manages and designs reports and benchmarking results in a clear and concise manner, as well as aggregating, processing, and interpreting report data for decision making in an effective and efficient manner
Performs programming and analysis work to automate/improve user-determined data analyses and reports under the direction of the Database and Analytics Administrator
Monitors and administers the regulatory and statutory requirements for MU Health Care, ensuring all requirements are met, monitors and implements new standards, and serves on regulatory committees to ensure all HR documentation, records, and processes meet all above requirements
Designs, implements, and maintains dashboards (including, but not limited to turnover, vacancy, average time to fill, cost per FTE, etc.)
Identifies, extracts, and analyzes HR trends and patterns to improve operational efficiencies in HR as well as the organization
Works with SharePoint to provide data to customers via lists, document libraries, key performance indicators, etc
Utilizes Human Resources databases and other reporting tools for both ongoing and ad-hoc reports for management and Human Resources staff
Provides administrator support on various HR Tools as needed
May complete unit/department-specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in information technology, informatics, or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired
Three (3) years of experience working in a data enterprise environment, including designing, building, and managing multiple databases, transformation of data, customer reporting, and creation of dashboards and online reporting
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in informatics, information technology, or a related area is strongly preferred
Strong front-end and back-end web application development using HTML, CSS3, C#, AJAX, and RESTful API, within a Microsoft-based development environment
