Responsibilities
Responsible for working as a team member with other Cardiovascular Laboratory personnel and physicians in providing the technical expertise necessary to perform those procedures required in the Cardiovascular Laboratory
Responsible for providing a safe and meaningful service to the patient and physician
Must be familiar with all of the equipment involved in performing such duties and be able to operate such equipment when required
Must have knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, hemodynamics, and sterile technique
Must have a good understanding of the whole scope of procedures performed and be able to act in any capacity as required
Responsible for providing the physician with reliable data and results at the completion of the procedure
All CV Technologists are expected to act upon their own initiative in the operation of the Cardiovascular Laboratory
Qualification
Required
Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Other-Fingerprint Required
Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or State Registered Radiologic Technician, or Certified Cardiographic Technologist, or Certificate, or Vocational School Graduate
