Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and performant frontend applications using React
Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences
Translate design prototypes into responsive and interactive user interfaces while ensuring high fidelity
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code with a focus on performance and maintainability
Address and resolve complex frontend challenges, ensuring robust and user-friendly solutions
Build and maintain component libraries and design systems to enhance development efficiency
Leverage modern development practices, tools, and frameworks to continuously improve the frontend architecture
Gather and implement customer and stakeholder feedback to improve product usability and functionality
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong emphasis on React
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS (Tailwind preferred), and frontend tooling
Demonstrated ability to build optimized, scalable applications with a keen eye for performance
Experience working in cross-disciplinary teams, contributing to both product and engineering strategies
Strong ability to deliver pixel-perfect implementations and maintain design consistency
Exceptional analytical and debugging skills with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
Grit and adaptability to thrive in high-paced, early-stage startup environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
Preferred
Familiarity with AI technologies and LLM-based applications
Experience contributing to or leading multiple product areas
Founding or entrepreneurial experience demonstrating ownership and accountability
Educational background in Computer Science from top institutions (e.g., Waterloo, MIT, Berkeley)
