Responsibilities

Drive next generation Data Protection forward utilizing commercial and government best practices for ensuring secure encryption solutions

Help stabilize and optimize an existing implementation in Oracle and work with the team to design a modernized replacement utilizing PostgreSQL

Support the exploration of data protection tools and the associated data frameworks and protection capabilities to operate within the cloud

Perform database backups and recovery (such as Oracle Recovery Manager (rman))

Configure and Implement Oracle Database Vault security policy

Configure and Implement tables and tablespaces encryption (such as Oracle Transparent Data Encryption)

Install and Configure databases to include configuring mutually authenticated link encryption (e.g. Transport Layer Security)

Required

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

DBA0 = 0 years + Bachelor degree in technical field or 4 years experience

DBA1 = 5 years + Bachelor degree in technical field or 9 years total experience

DBA2 = 10 years + Bachelor degree in technical field or 14 years total experience. DBA2 has the additional requirements of: Experience in Oracle and PostgreSQL

Demonstrated experience with SQL Developer

Demonstrated experience with Oracle Data Audit, Oracle Wallet

Demonstrated experience with Oracle DataGuard

Demonstrated experience with SQL and PL/SQL scripts

Ability to travel as required
