Responsibilities

Perform engineering analysis

Develop preliminary and detailed designs of stormwater facilities

Write specifications and construction documents

Conduct business development and/or project delivery for stormwater and resilience projects

Design and manage stormwater pump stations, flood control channels, and tide gates

Ensure dam safety and design

Demonstrate knowledge of hydrology and open channel hydraulics

Utilize ESRI Arc GIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, AutoCAD

Maintain strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in basic MS Office software

Collaborate as a team player

Qualification

Required

B.S. or MS Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering (or related engineering field), with emphasis in water resources

5-10 years' water resources-related experience

Candidate should be able to perform engineering analysis; develop preliminary and detailed designs of stormwater facilities; and write specifications and construction documents

Progressive experience conducting business development and /or project delivery for stormwater and resilience projects in coastal and interior drainage communities, including Stormwater Pump Stations, flood control channels and tide gates is a plus

Dam Safety and design experience is a plus

Knowledge and Experience with USACE Civil Works projects is a plus

Demonstrated knowledge of hydrology and open channel hydraulics

Knowledge/experience with ESRI Arc GIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, AutoCAD

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in basic MS Office software

P.E. certification a plus
