Procurement Analyst

Responsibilities

Manage company-wide spend analytics and categorization/segmentation of suppliers
Performs spend and usage analysis from a variety of sources, including supplier provided data
Work with business and finance leaders to identify and drive savings focusing on total cost of ownership
Manage the fundamentals of sourcing and supplier engagement activities and process
Conduct market analysis and exploration on new prospective suppliers
Prepare and organize bid packages in collaboration with business stakeholders
Supports and assists in contract negotiation process with suppliers
Prepare total cost of ownership analysis on bids and provide recommendations on supplier selection
Document standardized procurement & sourcing processes
Establish scorecard metrics to drive accountability among suppliers
Track and report procurement metrics to internal stakeholders
Manage and organize existing supplier contracts, including tracking of key dates

Required

Analytically focused and motivated
Proficient in the use of standard procurement tools and methods
Can coordinate across multiple stakeholder groups
Strong interpersonal skills including persuasive oral communications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem resolution skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications
Advanced Excel skills and data analysis/query software
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related field
2+ years of experience in analyst, category management, procurement or sourcing roles
Experience in the financial services industry
Experience with ERPs, procurement/sourcing tools, and contract tools
