Responsibilities

Obtain invaluable hands-on technical experience that you cannot learn in a classroom
Apply textbook knowledge and create solutions for real engineering challenges
Work with engineer mentors in the design team and take ownership of portions of various projects
Work in coordination with other engineering disciplines and learn how a complete design package is developed
Acquire time management, communication, and CAD drafting skills
Apply engineering concepts

Required

Currently enrolled in a Civil or Environmental Engineering program at a four-year ABET LOCAL university or college
Able to work part-time, with a minimum of 12 hours and a maximum of 18 hours per week
Must have reliable transportation
Have a laptop with Windows operating system you can use
Experience with Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Well organized and can effectively manage work and academic responsibilities simultaneously
Verification of US Citizenship required upon hire

Preferred

Preferred targeted graduation date within 1 year
Will consider interns who are graduating within 2 years, depending on our needs
