They are seeking a Summer Intern in Product Data to contribute to the Global Engineering Solutions team by defining and scoping requirements, testing engineering tool enhancements, developing training materials, and improving product data integrity.

Responsibilities

Work with an international team to produce and implement well-rounded CAD and/or PLM solutions

Drive continuous improvement on Allegion’s globally used Enterprise processes

Develop, release, and maintain process related documentation and training materials

Learn about, evaluate, and share best practices on product data software tools and capabilities

Update CAD and/or PLM product data to comply with internal best practices and standards

Deepen your understanding in CAD modeling and product data management best practices

Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities within Allegion

Required

Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline, e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Computer Graphics Technology, Digital Enterprise Systems, or other technical field

Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative, e.g., school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, leadership on school or work projects, etc

Ability to work in both a team and individual setting

Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly

Effective listening, time management and creative problem-solving techniques

A desire to learn, grow and develop by working on projects that will impact Allegion's business and customers

Preferred

Experience with 3D CAD Modeling and PLM software, PTC products (Creo and Windchill)
