Responsibilities
Advising, counseling, litigating, and investigating employment and labor issues
Drafting and reviewing employment policies and employment-related documents (such as offer letters, employment agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, employment policies, and separation agreements)
Support with diligence for the employment aspects of business mergers and acquisitions
Qualification
Required
3 to 5 years of experience working on a range of employment issues, including single plaintiff, class action, and restrictive covenant litigation
Experience litigating in state and federal courts
Experience litigating in arbitration
Experience working with claims before the EEOC, Department of Labor, and related state agencies
Some experience with respect to the employment aspects of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions
Strong academic credentials
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self-starter
Preferred
Prior experience with traditional labor relations is a plus but not required
