The role involves working individually or as part of a team in various software engineering capacities, with a focus on backend development, web-based UI design, and Agile methodologies.

Working in a Linux based development environment using tools like vscode

Working on Linux based systems using Redhat, CentOS, Rocky, etc

Backend development and scripting of complex systems using languages like C++, Python, and JAVA

Web-based user interface design and crafting an exciting user experience using Javascript, Vue.js, etc

Building applications in a microservices architecture using Docker and Kubernetes

Using databases and dealing with large datasets using MongoDB or SQL

Participating in an Agile software development environment using a tracking system to manage your work Like Jira

Active Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph is required

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, and no or minimal experience (Note: even without a degree, 4 years of relevant experience can qualify you for this level)

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, and 4 years of relevant experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, and 8 years of relevant experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, and 12 years of relevant experience

A Master's degree in computer science or relevant field can be used to substitute for 4 years of experience

Additional years of experience may also be used in most cases as a substitute for the Bachelor's requirement
