Responsibilities
Lead design and planning for water main, sanitary and storm sewer, and local road projects
Prepare utility master plans, feasibility studies, and preliminary engineering reports
Develop design documents and specifications for bidding
Submit construction permits to regulatory agencies
Manage municipal utility and roadway projects from concept to completion
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and clear communication
Collaborate with technical staff across Fishbeck offices to deliver integrated engineering services
Support proposal development and participate in qualifications submissions
Engage daily with project teams in a multi-discipline, multi-office environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Registered Professional Engineer in Michigan
12+ years of experience in utility and roadway design
Strong technical background in public infrastructure planning and design
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Proven project management and leadership skills
Excellent communication and client engagement abilities
Ability to travel to project sites and attend client meetings
