Marvin is a premier manufacturer of windows and doors, seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician Intern for the summer of 2026. This internship offers hands-on experience in maintenance and repair tasks under direct supervision, focusing on efficiency and problem-solving within the plant environment.

Responsibilities

Work efficiently with work order system (EAM) to document repairs and PM maintenance throughout the plant

Perform regular inspections and assist with repairs on any equipment in the facility

Assist in the set up of new equipment; troubleshoot equipment using basic tools

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualification

Pneumatics/hydraulicsElectronicsControlsKnowledge in manufacturing processesBasic understanding of mechanical systemsBasic understanding of electrical systemsProblem-solving techniquesWillingness to learnWork with power toolsUse computer equipmentAttention to detail

Required

Currently enrolled in a technical or vocational program related to maintenance or a related field

Knowledge of pneumatics/hydraulics, electronics and controls

Must possess knowledge in manufacturing processes, mechanical machines and mathematical concepts

Must be able to work with power tools and computer equipment

Must have quick and decisive problem-solving techniques

Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
