Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain data services, APIs, and applications used across departments
Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Analysts, and Product Managers to gather requirements and translate them into usable data products
Develop front-end components and dashboards using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
Write clean, efficient, and scalable Python and SQL code for data access and manipulation
Support the integration of new data sources and assist in data modeling
Contribute to data governance and compliance, including HIPAA/HITRUST-aligned practices
Troubleshoot and resolve data issues across platforms and teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
3+ years of experience with Python and SQL
3+ years of experience with modern cloud-based data architectures
2+ years of experience with big data tools (BigQuery, Spark) or distributed data systems
Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks like Node.js, React, TypeScript
Familiarity with Flask and/or Next.js for building user-facing applications
Preferred
Experience with AWS data tools (Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena)
Exposure to data science techniques, statistical models, or ML pipelines
Working knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, or other healthcare compliance standards
Familiarity with Docker or containerization technologies
Demonstrated success in fast-paced, high-growth environments
