Responsibilities
Develop and maintain efficient and interactive dashboards, reports, and data models
Collaborate with business stakeholders and data scientists to gather and translate requirements
Design and implement robust ETL pipelines to load data from various sources into analytics platforms
Validate, cleanse, and transform data to ensure high accuracy and consistency
Optimize data queries and improve performance of analytics systems
Conduct data profiling and recommend solutions for data quality improvement
Stay informed of best practices, tools, and trends in data engineering and analytics
Qualification
Required
12+ years of experience as an Analytics Developer, Data Engineer, or similar role
Proven experience designing and implementing data models in Snowflake
Expertise in defining Snowflake database objects for optimized data storage and retrieval
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, etc.)
Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
Solid understanding of data modeling (dimensional modeling, star schema)
Experience with data integration and ETL processes
Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and tools like Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork
Preferred
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java
Familiarity with big data tools and platforms (Hadoop, Spark)
Experience with integration tools like MuleSoft and IICS
Knowledge of Azure services including Security, Blob Storage, Data Lake, Databricks, Data Factory, and Monitoring
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert or SnowPro Certification
