They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaning and Restoration Crew Chief to oversee carpet cleaning and water restoration jobs, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely while providing top-tier customer service.

Responsibilities

Respond to emergency calls and maintain open availability (must be available 24/7/365)

Demonstrate a positive company image to staff and clients, including oral and written communication and visual presentation

Perform and supervise all cleaning jobs (carpet, tile & grout, upholstery, air duct, and floor cleaning)

Perform and supervise water damage, mold remediation, fire & smoke damage, and biohazard projects

Maintain knowledge and follow IICRC guidelines, ensuring all work performed is up to standards

Communicate effectively with customers, providing verbal and written updates and timelines

Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods/techniques, and identifying/recommending additional services when applicable

Ensure proper maintenance and troubleshooting of vehicles and equipment

Assess damage at the client's property, determine the scope of work, and attend to it

Implement best practices to aid the company in meeting its vision, mission, and goals

Other duties as assigned

Effectively monitor and lead a team to ensure timely completion of tasks and delivery of exceptional quality

Train and coach technicians adhering to company practices and guidelines

Required

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in water restoration and carpet cleaning operations

Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, handling multiple projects at once

Proficiency in using project management/estimating software, such as Xactimate, CRM systems, and scheduling tools

Work on-call and in all emergencies, as needed

Cope and handle conflict, stress, and crises with professionalism

Maintain physical fitness and have no health issues that would interfere with the physical demands and conditions of the work environment customary for this type of work

Be able to comfortably lift 75-100 lbs without assistance

Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks

Provide exemplary customer service to clients

Preferred

IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) with specialties in: WRT (Water Restoration Technician), CCT (Carpet Cleaning Technician), AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician), OSHA 30 Certification
