Responsibilities

Install, configure, and support Oracle and PostgreSQL databases in production, staging, and development environments
Manage database infrastructure, including architecture design, upgrades, patching, backups, recovery, and security
Configure database parameters, perform performance tuning, and monitor database health
Support high availability and disaster recovery solutions using Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate
Manage user access, roles, and privileges
Perform grid and database patching across Oracle versions (12c, 19c, 23AI)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure application connectivity and platform reliability
Work with Linux environments and automation tools such as Ansible and Python

Required

Education: Bachelor's degree (minimum requirement)
Experience: 3–9 years in database administration, with strong expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL
Hands-on experience with: Oracle RAC, Data Guard, OEM, GoldenGate, ASM
Exadata and engineered systems
MySQL, SQL Server, and Cassandra
Linux systems administration
Automation (Ansible, Python)
Proven experience in database backup, recovery, installation, and performance optimization
