Conduct random and targeted audits of coded medical records
Identify, document, and track coding errors or inconsistencies
Provide individual and team feedback on audit findings
Assist with coder training and ongoing education programs
Monitor, track, and report on coder accuracy and audit trends
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and established coding standards
Qualification
Required
Active certification such as CPMA, CCS, or CPC with auditing specialization
Minimum 3 years of medical coding and auditing experience
Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and compliance requirements
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred
Experience with public health programs preferred
