Responsibilities

Support Alfa's life product pricing, design, and profitability analysis, including assumptions review and sources of earnings analysis
Help develop and enhance Alfa's proprietary R-based actuarial models. Perform user acceptance testing on model changes made by other actuarial staff
Support actuarial reserve valuation and financial reporting for Alfa's life and annuity products
Review and analyze industry white papers, peer-company benchmarking data, and competitive survey data. Present findings to actuarial, underwriting, and analytics staff

Rising Junior or Senior in a 4-year university
Actuarial Science or Mathematics major
Computer skills and ability to learn new programs (Microsoft Office)
