Responsibilities
Visit homes and businesses across Nevada to collect samples for asbestos, mold, and lead testing
Use proper tools and follow safety rules to gather samples
Test samples on-site using lab equipment
Inspect buildings to check for asbestos, mold, or lead
Record your findings and keep clear notes
Analyze results and decide if there are any hazards
Write simple reports for clients with your findings and suggestions
Work with restoration companies, contractors, and insurance companies
Keep up to date with safety rules and regulations
Take care of lab tools and equipment
Help keep track of supplies
Take part in training to improve your skills
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in science (like environmental science, chemistry, or biology) is preferred
Certifications in asbestos, mold, or lead testing are a plus
Experience testing for asbestos, mold, or lead is helpful
Must pay attention to detail and follow instructions
Good at solving problems and understanding test results
Strong written and spoken communication skills
Able to work alone, manage your time, and travel regularly
Must be committed to safety
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
