Responsibilities
Defining the best way to implement embedded system features with support from senior embedded engineers
Creating custom Yocto distributions, layers, and recipes
Customizing U-boot, the Linux kernel, and device drivers
Developing or customizing board support packages (BSP) for our customers' custom hardware to provide additional functionality: system updates, security, boot optimization, etc
Scripting and developing middleware with Bash, Python, C, or C++
Qualification
Required
5-year degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science with specialization in embedded systems
Must have experience with Yocto or Buildroot, the Linux kernel, and drivers
C/C++ development capability
Fluent English is required since all the work is performed in English
Preferred
Embedded development experience in tools like JTAG probe usage, logical analyzer is a plus
