They are seeking a Lead Swim Instructor to engage with children, teach swimming techniques, mentor new instructors, and ensure safety protocols are followed. This part-time role emphasizes teaching swim classes and working collaboratively with the Aquatics Leaders.

Responsibilities
Engagement with children/swimmers while smiling, singing, and having fun while teaching lessons
Learning and teaching swimming techniques with an emphasis on survival skills
Using your training to mentor/guide new swim instructors that join our program
Ensure proper safety protocols and swim techniques are being followed to British Swim School brand standards
Work directly with the Aquatics Leaders to plan/conduct monthly in-service meetings and on-going training for the instructor team
Speaking to parents/customers about their children’s progress
Qualification
Required
Current lifeguard certification required. If you are not currently certified, you must be willing to become certified before starting this position
Outgoing, contagious personality
Experience with swimming all 4 swim strokes and an understanding of proper technique and mechanics
Willing to learn and able to follow franchise brand standards and guidelines
Weekend availability required
Preferred
Experience with children or in a child-focused job
