They are seeking an experienced Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and residential settings
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
Install electrical components such as switches, outlets, and circuit breakers
Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning
Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs
Follow all safety protocols and adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as an electrician in commercial or residential settings
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage applications
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations
Ability to use hand tools and specialized electrical equipment safely
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred
Frame carpentry: Knowledge of basic carpentry techniques for installing electrical components in walls, ceilings, and floors
NEC: Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) for ensuring compliance with safety standards
Blueprint reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to plan electrical installations
Commercial electrician: Experience working on electrical systems in commercial buildings such as offices, retail spaces, or warehouses
Hand tools: Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems
Electrical: Strong understanding of electrical principles, circuits, wiring, and components
Industrial electrician: Experience working on electrical systems in industrial settings such as factories or manufacturing plants
Build: Ability to assemble and install electrical systems according to specifications and building codes
High voltage: Knowledge and experience working with high voltage electrical systems
Schematics: Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues
