Goldfish Swim School is a rapidly growing, award-winning franchise dedicated to helping children learn to swim and promoting water safety. They are seeking a Customer Service and Swim Instructor who will provide excellent customer service, instruct students on swim techniques, and engage with parents to ensure satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Answers telephones, responds to inquiries, takes messages and screens and directs phone calls in a professional manner

Processes student registrations using effective sales/customer service techniques

Resolves customer concerns/complaints using a professional approach

Assists members with purchases of merchandise and vending

Provides swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum

Evaluates students’ progress, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner

Interacts with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students’ swim skills

Acts as a GSS “ambassador” to ensure parental satisfaction

Reports accidents and incidents to management. Completes required documentation and paperwork

Fulfills other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Employer

Required

Ability to work with children

Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills

Must pass background examinations (included with training)

High school diploma or GED is preferred, or currently in High School

Experience as a certified lifeguard

Youth sports instructor/coach

Camp counselor

Childcare provider

Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred (Training Provided)

40 hours PTO in addition to EST

Paid holidays if they fall on a day you would work (NY Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas and NYE)

$100 monthly stipend toward your medical insurance with monthly receipt

All benefits are offered after 90 days of employment
