The intern will assist the VDC Department in learning Revit basics to support the transition from design models to fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities
Isolate systems and create spool drawings based on provided criteria
Setup sheets and schedules and provide annotated review binders within Revit 2023 or higher
Provide a bill of material for procurement prior to fabrication
Qualification
Required
Active students pursuing a college degree in a field applicable to construction
Fast learning, focused, and driven individual with an interest in mechanical piping and plumbing systems
Ability to accurately and consistently execute processes and provide the same quality work product daily
Ability to take directions from departmental managers and/or instructors
Exceptional written, verbal communication skills and listening skills
Strong work ethic

Dependable / Punctual
Organization and attention to detail
Positive attitude
Mid-level to advanced computer skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word
0–1-year experience in Autodesk Revit
High School Diploma or GED
Actively pursuing associate degree or higher-level education in field applicable to construction
40 hours/ week in Jacksonville office. No remote work
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Preferred
Prior experience in Autodesk Revit
