Preparing correspondence and legal documents (including notice letters, pleadings, discovery motions, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and Releases, as well as settlement- and court-conference summaries and pre-trial memoranda)
Performing investigative inquiries and background research, as well as ensuring preservation of loss scenes and physical evidence, coordinating expert assignments, and scheduling scene inspections and evidence exams
Managing trial preparation: marshaling exhibits, pleadings, subpoenas, witnesses, etc
Interviewing experts as to findings and opinions, and conferring with lawyers re: same
Drafting status updates for clients
Qualification
Required
High-level organizational abilities
Inclination toward persistent follow-up
Experience in preparing correspondence and legal documents (including notice letters, pleadings, discovery motions, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and Releases, as well as settlement- and court-conference summaries and pre-trial memoranda)
Experience in performing investigative inquiries and background research
Ability to ensure preservation of loss scenes and physical evidence
Experience in coordinating expert assignments and scheduling scene inspections and evidence exams
Experience in managing trial preparation: marshaling exhibits, pleadings, subpoenas, witnesses, etc
Experience in interviewing experts as to findings and opinions
Ability to confer with lawyers regarding expert findings and opinions
Experience in drafting status updates for clients
