Responsibilities
Work with engineering teams to design, develop and debug new features
Write/maintain design and architecture documents
Work on reproducing and fixing the issues found during engineering test phase and field tests
Improve performance, scalability, features of the product
Help improve product quality and performance through regular technical feedback
Qualification
Required
Proficient and Hands on in C programming, Data structures and Algorithms
Experience Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax protocols
Good debugging skills and especially with tools like GDB, strace etc
Good understanding of Linux/Unix system programming, internals and drivers
Good understanding of Networking protocol stack like TCP/IP
10+ years of work experience in the wireless industry
Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
Preferred
Having working experience on OpenWRT/Wifi is added advantage
Good understanding of 11ax features like UL and DL OFDMA,MU MIMO,TWT,BSS color
Understanding of PHY Layer and MAC/application layer and experience in debugging throughput issues
Strong scripting skills in at least one common language (Python, Perl, etc.)
Knowledge of bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla
