They are seeking a Staff Datacenter Power and Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of power distribution systems in high-density data center environments, ensuring safe and reliable delivery of electrical power.

Responsibilities

Develop rack-level busbar systems and interfaces with PDUs, ensuring efficient, safe, and scalable power delivery to IT equipment

Produce detailed schematics, layout drawings, and technical documentation for rack-level distribution

Oversee installation, commissioning, and validation of electrical systems, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards

Perform load flow, short-circuit, and reliability studies for rack-level networks using industry-standard analysis tools

Specify and validate connectors, cabling, and protective devices for high-current power distribution

Collaborate with facilities, IT, and mechanical teams to align power distribution with cooling and operational requirements

Monitor power quality, system efficiency, and voltage regulation for busbar-to-server distribution paths

Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for power-related issues

Recommend and implement design or operational improvements to increase reliability, maintainability, and scalability

Ensure all designs and installations comply with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, validation reports, and O&M manuals

Partner with IT, facilities, and operations teams to deliver integrated data center solutions

Provide subject-matter expertise on electrical distribution in support of business growth and technology roadmaps
