Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain dialysis equipment, including setting up, operating, and cleaning machines
Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, checking vital signs and ensuring patient comfort
Administer local anesthetics and insert needles into patients’ veins for dialysis access
Troubleshoot dialysis machines and respond to alarms or malfunctions promptly
Educate patients on dialysis procedures and post-treatment care
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Follow all infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe treatment environment
Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred
Previous experience as a Dialysis Technician preferred; however, on-the-job training is provided for the right candidate
Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) preferred but not required
