The analyst will be responsible for completing analysis and developing recommendations to improve credit policy and help shape the iCLIP strategy by creating frameworks and KPIs for credit decisions.

Responsibilities
Analysis: Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them using analysis to make strategic or tactical recommendations
Credit: Develop and analyze new KPIs for the business, create rigorous hypothesis-driven testing via well-structured test and control groups
Problem Solving: Own projects from ideation to implementation by creating problem frame-works, developing hypotheses, test and analysis, solution development, scoping operational feasibility, leading implementation efforts, and developing a monitoring plan
Partnership: Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including: Data Science, Marketing, Legal, Data Analysis, and other BAs
Strategic & Analytic Orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics, business context, and judgment. Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by a strong quantitative orientation, given that a large part of the business is based on rigorous analytic marketing and credit risk management
Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication; Ability to craft stories and simplify complex concepts for leadership and gain alignment
Results Orientation: Display focus and motivation to achieve both short and long term goals. Drive and execute an agenda through ambiguity, taking ownership of work and providing thought leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 1 year of experience in analysis
Preferred
Master's Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
1+ years of experience with Python
1+ years of experience in SQL querying
2+ years of experience in business analysis
