Responsibilities
Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications
Researches, tests, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software
Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements
Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management
Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools
Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
Acts as team leader on projects
Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team
Participates in development of software user manuals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
11 yrs troubleshooting production problems related to software applications
Proven experience in IT field with focus on the technical reporting, system setup, data analysis and analytics
Experience with Visual Studio 2010 and later versions with .Net Framework 2.0-4.6.2 with C# and VB
Experience developing enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies within a distributed (n-tier) architecture
Excellent analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written, have the ability to work well in a team, collaborating with developers, etc
Experience developing enterprise applications that interact with MS SQL Server and/or Oracle databases
Candidate should have strong ETL experience in Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence platforms (experiences with ETL Tools like SSIS/Informatica/Data Stage)
Experience in developing applications using C#, ASP.NET
Experience with database technologies, development methodologies, and front-end (e.g., Cognos)/back-end programming languages (e.g. SQL)
Experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Service Oriented Architecture
Have you used LINQ (Language-integrated Query) in your previous projects?
Experience with any of JIRA/Bugzilla/HP ALM tools
Experience with Databases using ADO.NET
Preferred
Hands on experience with any of the following is favorable: Java, XML, HTML, JavaScript, BPEL, PHP and WebLogic
