Responsibilities

Plans, organizes, and implements projects in support of District’s growing information demands
Ensures the effective use of District resources
Contributes to policies for effective process planning as it relates to new requirements
Possesses expert knowledge of the Structured Query Language (SQL) environment with particular emphasis on planning, analysis, design and implementation of reports and report interfaces intended for the end user
Participates in short-term tactical planning implementation
Contributes to long-term strategic planning

Required

Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
Expert knowledge of the Structured Query Language (SQL) environment with particular emphasis on planning, analysis, design and implementation of reports and report interfaces intended for the end user
Designs and maintains on premises SQL Server databases and tables
Provide customer support, to internal and external customers
Produce system and custom reports upon request using SQL queries
Reviews and prepares technical documentation, including data dictionaries definitions, systems flows, program flows, database designs
Oversee enhancements and new feature deployment, including the development requirements and testing scripts
Responsible for database problem diagnosis and resolution
Recommends improvements to database systems based on the latest developments within the IT field
Plans, organizes, and implements projects in support of District's growing information demands
Ensures the effective use of District resources
Contributes to policies for effective process planning as it relates to new requirements
Participates in short-term tactical planning implementation
Contributes to long-term strategic planning
