Responsibilities
Independently design and draft standard mechanical components with minimal supervision
Participate in project review meetings, offering valuable insights and contributing to project milestones
Collaborate with other discipline leads to ensure seamless integration of designs and engineering solutions
Utilize NX (V-10 and above) for modeling and drafting, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices
Apply knowledge of standard manufacturing processes, fit, and tolerances to ensure designs meet functional and quality requirements
Demonstrate a solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles
Preferably, bring experience in turbo machinery, including gas and steam turbines, to enhance project outcomes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized college/university
5+ years of experience in mechanical design and drafting
Proficiency in NX (V-10 and above preferred) and experience with PLM and Teamcenter
Strong understanding of standard manufacturing processes, fit, and tolerances
Quick learner with the ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing project requirements
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Preferred
Experience with turbo machinery, such as gas turbines and steam turbines, is a plus
