Responsibilities

Develop and deliver effective training — both one-on-one and in group settings — to help users confidently navigate the firm’s technology tools and systems
Troubleshoot application and hardware issues, guiding users from problem identification to resolution while promoting best practices for efficiency and productivity
Work closely with firmwide and local IT teams, attorneys, staff, and vendors to enhance the user experience, ensure smooth adoption of new tools, and maintain a high standard of client service
Blend technical expertise with instructional skill, ensuring that the firm’s technology investments are fully leveraged
Assess user needs and provide tailored, effective training solutions
Deliver value through improved user skills with a strong client service ethic
Lead classroom-style sessions, create learning materials, and provide follow-up coaching
Demonstrate a proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong ownership of responsibilities
Make effective decisions and solve problems in a timely manner
Collaborate across all levels of the organization
Manage competing priorities and respond to urgent requests
Accommodate occasional training outside normal business hours
Lift up to 25 pounds for equipment setup

Required

College-level coursework in Information Systems Technology preferred
Experience as a technical trainer, with the ability to simplify complex topics for non-technical audiences
Five years of hands-on PC experience with strong hardware and software knowledge
Thorough understanding of LAN/WAN and server concepts
Advanced knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with project management principles
Ability to assess user needs and provide tailored, effective training solutions
Strong client service ethic, with a focus on delivering value through improved user skills
Excellent communication skills — both in explaining technology and in listening to user concerns
Comfortable leading classroom-style sessions, creating learning materials, and providing follow-up coaching
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong ownership of responsibilities
Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
Well-organized, able to manage competing priorities, and responsive to urgent requests
Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional training outside normal business hours
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for equipment setup

Preferred

Recent, relevant certifications strongly preferred
Law firm or professional services background a plus
